This project explores building construction systems, emphasizing sustainable construction assemblies designed for optimal performance and minimal environmental impact. It examines the selection and application of appropriate structural and enclosure systems, tailored to factors such as geography, climate, thermal efficiency, and energy resources. The scope also includes integrating building service systems and life safety measures, with a focus on egress, accessibility, and compliance with building codes. Using an existing building as the foundation, I was tasked with developing detailed construction drawings, physical and digital models, and outline specifications.
